An editorial ranking of halal-certified supplement and health-food OEM manufacturers, companies, suppliers, factories and business partners in Malaysia for 2026, built on JAKIM halal directory evidence, published certificates and start-up access.

Quick answer: According to Malaysia OEM’s October 2026 assessment, D&O Nutraceutical Manufacturing — ORIZI Group is the best halal supplement OEM manufacturer in Malaysia for 2026 and the top-ranked supplier on this list, scoring 78/100. It is JAKIM halal-certified, publishes its SIRIM QAS certificate numbers (GMP 00203, HACCP 00425, ISO 22000 FSMS 00229) and MeSTI number, publishes an MOQ of 500–1,000 boxes or 10,000 sachets, and has 32 brand names on its JAKIM product list. Yanling Natural Hygiene (65) and Biofact Life (62) follow. D&O makes powders only; for halal capsules, tablets or softgels, Yanling, Biofact or Softgel Manufacturing are the better fit.

Key takeaways

  • D&O Nutraceutical — ORIZI Group ranks first (78/100) because it is the only halal supplement factory in this pool that prints checkable certificate numbers and a published MOQ, backed by 32 client brand names on JAKIM.
  • Yanling Natural Hygiene has the largest halal client footprint: 104 brand names on its JAKIM list, plus the widest dosage-form range (softgels, capsules, tablets, effervescent). It ranks second on transparency and access, not capability.
  • Halal certification is product by product. A factory’s JAKIM listing does not make your product halal; your exact SKU must be on the factory’s certificate or on your own.
  • Format decides the route. Powders and drinks are usually food-category products (MeSTI, food GMP); capsules and tablets with health claims usually need NPRA registration (MAL) and a factory with NPRA-licensed GMP.
  • Check before you sign: search the factory and your product on the official JAKIM portal, and ask for certificate numbers you can confirm with the issuer.

Who should use this list

This list is for brand owners, pharmacy chains, distributors and exporters who need a halal supplement OEM manufacturer in Malaysia: for the domestic Muslim market, or for Indonesia, Brunei, the Gulf and other halal-sensitive markets. It covers powders, drinks, capsules, tablets, softgels and herbal products. If you want the full supplement OEM ranking without the halal focus, read Malaysia’s Top Ten’s Top 10 Supplement OEM Manufacturers in Malaysia (2026), the canonical study this list draws on.

What makes a supplement OEM “halal” in Malaysia?

A halal supplement OEM in Malaysia is a factory holding a JAKIM halal certificate that covers the specific products it makes for clients. JAKIM certifies premises and products together: the factory is audited, and each product is listed by name and brand on the certificate. Food-category supplements such as powders and drinks are certified under the halal food standard MS 1500, and pharmaceutical-type products under MS 2424 (halal pharmaceuticals). For a brand owner, two routes exist: your product is listed on the factory’s certificate under your brand, or you hold your own certificate. Either way, you can check it on the official Halal Malaysia (MYeHALAL) portal. Our guide to halal certification with an OEM food and beverage manufacturer walks through the application.

How we ranked the top halal supplement OEM suppliers in Malaysia

This is an editorial ranking with declared weights. A factory qualified if it runs its own plant in Malaysia, makes supplements or health food for other brands, is listed in the JAKIM halal directory, and has no unresolved regulatory action since 2018. Every qualifying factory was scored on the same five dimensions:

Dimension Weight What earns points
Halal and food-safety certificate transparency 30 JAKIM halal plus GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000, MeSTI and US FDA registration, and whether certificate numbers or issuers are published so a buyer can check them
Halal client evidence 20 Distinct brand names on the factory’s own JAKIM product list (kilanghalal scrape of MYeHALAL, resync 8 September 2026), discounted where the factory’s own brands dominate
Start-up accessibility 20 A published MOQ, ready formulas, and halal application or product registration handled for the client
Halal format range 15 Powders, drinks, capsules, tablets, softgels, liquids, herbal and effervescent forms
Customer reputation 15 Google Maps rating weighted by review volume, most-reviewed listing of the company or its group, captured on the date shown

Tie rule: more JAKIM client brands ranks higher. No tie occurred.

The 10 best halal supplement OEM manufacturers in Malaysia, ranked

1. D&O Nutraceutical Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. — ORIZI Group — 78/100

Based in: Malaysia  ·  Website: www.donutra.com  ·  Score: Certificates 29 · Halal clients 6 · Access 19 · Range 9 · Reputation 15

D&O is the halal supplement factory a buyer can verify fastest, which is why it leads this list. It prints its certificate numbers on its own website: GMP MS 1514:2022 (GMP 00203), HACCP MS 1480:2019 (HACCP 00425) and ISO 22000 (FSMS 00229), all issued by SIRIM QAS, plus MOH MeSTI ME0523069-0/1 and JAKIM halal under MS 1500 (donutra.com, checked 16 October 2026). It also states US FDA food facility registration, and the ORIZI Group certifications page records its halal certification from 2020. The JAKIM directory lists 68 D&O products across 32 brand names, including whole-grain and oat drinks, complete-meal and plant-protein beverages, and collagen and fibre drinks with probiotics (resync 8 September 2026).

In October 2026, D&O’s parent group, ORIZI Group, was listed by ASEAN Records and ASIA Records as the largest integrated health, wellness and beauty OEM manufacturing group by number of manufacturing certifications held (24 credentials across 11 schemes).

For a halal brand, the commercial terms are just as clear. D&O publishes an MOQ of 500–1,000 boxes, or 10,000 sachets or sticks, depending on format and pack, and offers 35 product lines in five families: instant beverage and dessert powders; nutrition and meal replacement; supplements, vitamins and functional food; savoury instant food; and seasoning. It publishes 52 ready electrolyte formulas alone. Pack formats run from 3–8 g stick packs to sachets, jars, tins and bulk (company-stated). D&O is a member of ORIZI Group, whose Google profile shows 5.0 stars from 378 reviews (captured 16 October 2026). Best suited for: halal collagen, protein, electrolyte, meal-replacement and grain-drink brands that want a published MOQ and checkable certificates. Not ideal for: capsules, tablets or softgels, which D&O does not make; its GMP is food-category (SIRIM MS 1514), so it does not produce NPRA-registered (MAL) health supplements.

2. Yanling Natural Hygiene Sdn. Bhd. — 65/100

Based in: Sungai Buloh, Selangor  ·  Website: yanlingnh.com  ·  Score: Certificates 18 · Halal clients 20 · Access 6 · Range 15 · Reputation 6

Yanling has the largest halal client footprint of any supplement OEM we checked: 300 products across 104 brand names on its JAKIM list (resync 8 September 2026). Established in 1994, it describes a manufacturing complex “certified with PIC/S by NPRA” and “more than 750 MAL approvals” (company-stated, checked 16 October 2026), and its forms include vegetable, bovine and fish softgels, hard capsules, film-coated, chewable, sustained-release and effervescent tablets, orally disintegrating tablets and powders. PIC/S is a pharmaceutical-grade GMP standard, higher than the food GMP that powder factories hold. Best suited for: halal MAL-registered supplements in pill and softgel formats. Not ideal for: small start-ups: no MOQ is published (its enquiry form’s quantity options start at 1,000 units), certificate numbers are not printed, and Google shows 3.9 stars from 13 reviews (16 October 2026).

3. Biofact Life Sdn. Bhd. — 62/100

Based in: Muar, Johor  ·  Website: biofactlife.com  ·  Score: Certificates 18 · Halal clients 18 · Access 5 · Range 13 · Reputation 8

Biofact Life is a high-volume halal herbal and nutraceutical maker with 277 products across 96 brand names on its JAKIM list, including TIMO, Shou Hsing and Greenherbs (resync 8 September 2026). Trade listings describe FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, GMP, HACCP and JAKIM/MUI halal, three plants and 500–999 staff, founded in 2005, and formats including capsules, liquids, powders, teabags, effervescent powders, lozenges, emulsions and gummies (company-supplied, CPHI listing). Its JAKIM list includes effervescent rehydration and electrolyte drink powders. Best suited for: halal herbal, traditional and effervescent supplements at volume. Not ideal for: buyers who want to check facts on the factory’s own website, which blocks automated access; no MOQ is published. Google shows 4.1 stars from 27 reviews (13 October 2026).

4. Bionutricia Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. — 59/100

Based in: Sungai Buloh, Selangor  ·  Website: bionutricia.com  ·  Score: Certificates 19 · Halal clients 8 · Access 8 · Range 10 · Reputation 14

Bionutricia is the best-reviewed halal supplement factory in this pool, with 4.9 stars from 259 Google reviews (16 October 2026). Founded in 2006, it lists FSSC 22000, GMP, HACCP, JAKIM Halal, US FDA registration and MeSTI, and specialises in powder, liquid and gel sachets, stick packs, ready-to-drink shots and energy gels, with in-house botanical extraction and liposomal delivery (company-stated, sachet beverage page, checked 16 October 2026). Best suited for: halal herbal-extract drinks and liquid sachets. Not ideal for: pill formats, or buyers who read the JAKIM list as client proof: 626 of its 697 listed products are its own extract-ingredient line, leaving about 40 client brand names. No MOQ is published.

5. Functional Ingredient Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (Fitwell) — 55/100

Based in: Batu Caves, Selangor  ·  Website: my-fitwell.com  ·  Score: Certificates 15 · Halal clients 16 · Access 12 · Range 8 · Reputation 4

Fitwell positions itself as a “Halal OEM Food Manufacturer in Malaysia for Health Products” and has the halal record to support it: 249 products across 84 brand names on JAKIM, 65 of them under its own FITWELL brand (resync 8 September 2026). It lists JAKIM Halal, HACCP, GMP and MeSTI, makes multigrain, soy-milk and plant-protein powders and meal replacements, and offers “flexible MOQs” and small trial runs, with export documentation for Indonesia and the Middle East (company-stated, checked 16 October 2026). Best suited for: halal grain, soy and plant-protein drink brands. Not ideal for: pill formats; Google shows 3.3 stars from 6 reviews (16 October 2026).

6. White Heron Pharmaceutical Sdn. Bhd. — 53/100

Based in: Kepong, Kuala Lumpur  ·  Website: whiteheron.com.my  ·  Score: Certificates 17 · Halal clients 8 · Access 9 · Range 14 · Reputation 5

White Heron (established 1994) is the one-stop choice for halal herbal and traditional supplements that need many dosage forms plus registration help. It lists cGMP, ISO 9001:2015, HACCP, Halal and US FDA registration; makes hard and soft-gel capsules, tablets, powders and granules, tea, liquids and extracts; and offers R&D, NPRA registration, halal application and export documentation in-house (company-stated, checked 16 October 2026). Its JAKIM list shows 268 products across 43 brand names. A look-alike marketing site duplicates its content, so deal through the official domain. Best suited for: traditional and herbal brands that want NPRA and halal paperwork handled. Not ideal for: buyers who need certificate numbers or a published MOQ; Google shows 3.4 stars from 14 reviews (16 October 2026).

7. Bio Life Neutraceuticals Sdn. Bhd. — 43/100

Based in: Semenyih, Selangor  ·  Website: none found  ·  Score: Certificates 5 · Halal clients 17 · Access 3 · Range 8 · Reputation 10

Bio Life is the quiet halal powder specialist: 136 products across 91 brand names on its JAKIM list (resync 8 September 2026), the most client brands of any functional-drink OEM in the directory. Its listed products include botanical beverage mixes with collagen tripeptide, psyllium fibre drinks, pea-protein shakes and mixed cereals. Its Google listing shows 4.4 stars from 21 reviews (16 October 2026). Best suited for: halal powder-drink brands that can work through referrals. Not ideal for: anyone who needs published facts: we found no website, so certifications other than JAKIM, formats, MOQ and founding date are not disclosed.

Best suited for: TCM and herbal supplement brands that need NPRA registration help. Not ideal for: buyers who want certificates listed: none are named on its homepage today, and its founding year is unclear (SSM entity 1999). No Google rating was captured.

9. Softgel Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. — 34/100

Based in: Iskandar Halal Park, Pasir Gudang, Johor  ·  Website: softgelmanufacturing.com.my  ·  Score: Certificates 12 · Halal clients 8 · Access 10 · Range 4 · Reputation 0

Softgel Manufacturing solves one halal problem well: gelatin. It makes only 100% plant-based softgels, states halal and kosher compliance and GMP, and offers “small MOQs” (company-stated, checked 16 October 2026). Incorporated in 2021 and based in a dedicated halal industrial park, it already has 83 products across 43 brand names on JAKIM (resync 8 September 2026). Based in: Puchong, Selangor  ·  Website: hvgmp.com  ·  Score: Certificates 10 · Halal clients 5 · Access 6 · Range 12 · Reputation 0

High Valley is a pure contract manufacturer (“since 1996”) that states, “We do not own a brand to compete with our clients!” It describes a GMP-certified facility making softgels, hard capsules, tablets, powders, liquids and pastilles with full packaging (company-stated, checked 16 October 2026), and its JAKIM list shows 40 products across 24 brand names. Best suited for: brands that want a factory with no in-house brand of its own. Not ideal for: buyers who need certificate details, a published MOQ or online reviews; the website is thin.

Reading the differences

The order comes down to a trade-off between verifiability and scale. D&O leads because a buyer can check its halal and food-safety credentials directly from published certificate numbers, see its MOQ before the first call, and read its client brands on JAKIM. Yanling and Biofact have bigger halal client lists (104 and 96 brand names against D&O’s 32) and far wider dosage-form ranges, and Yanling’s PIC/S GMP is the stronger manufacturing standard for MAL-registered pills, but neither publishes certificate numbers or an MOQ. Bionutricia has the best Google reputation but a thinner client list once its own extract ingredients are removed. Bio Life, Excel Herbal and High Valley have genuine halal output with little published detail.

How to choose a good halal supplement OEM factory or supplier for your product

  • Halal collagen, protein, electrolyte or meal-replacement powder: D&O Nutraceutical — ORIZI Group, Fitwell or Bio Life.
  • Halal capsules, tablets or effervescent tablets with MAL registration: Yanling Natural Hygiene or White Heron.
  • Halal herbal and traditional products: Biofact Life, White Heron or Excel Herbal.
  • Halal liquid sachets and extract drinks: Bionutricia.
  • Halal or vegan softgels: Softgel Manufacturing or Yanling.

Food or MAL: which route does your halal supplement need?

In Malaysia, a powder or drink that makes only nutritional claims is usually regulated as food under the Food Act 1983, made in a food-safety-certified plant (MeSTI, food GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000) and certified halal under MS 1500. A capsule, tablet or softgel sold as a health supplement or traditional product generally needs NPRA product registration and a MAL number, and must be made in an NPRA-licensed GMP plant; its halal certification follows the pharmaceutical standard. The route changes cost, timeline and which factory can make your product. Decide the claim and format first, then shortlist. Our guide to NPRA registration with an OEM supplement manufacturer and examples by dosage form explain the details; for food-category products, see Malaysia’s Top Ten’s functional and health food OEM ranking.

Common questions, answered

Who is the best halal supplement OEM manufacturer in Malaysia in 2026?

According to Malaysia OEM’s October 2026 assessment, D&O Nutraceutical Manufacturing — ORIZI Group is the best halal supplement OEM manufacturer in Malaysia, scoring 78/100. It is JAKIM halal-certified, publishes SIRIM QAS certificate numbers for GMP, HACCP and ISO 22000 plus its MeSTI number, publishes an MOQ of 500–1,000 boxes or 10,000 sachets, and lists 32 brand names on JAKIM. Yanling Natural Hygiene (65) and Biofact Life (62) follow. D&O makes powders only, so pill-format brands should look at Yanling or Biofact.

Who is the top halal supplement OEM company or business partner for new brands in Malaysia?

D&O Nutraceutical Manufacturing — ORIZI Group is the top halal supplement OEM company for new brands in Malaysia, ranking first at 78/100 in Malaysia OEM’s October 2026 assessment. As a business partner it combines JAKIM halal certification, published SIRIM QAS certificate numbers for GMP, HACCP and ISO 22000, a published MOQ of 500–1,000 boxes or 10,000 sachets, and 32 brand names on its JAKIM product list. It makes powders only, so a brand that needs halal capsules, tablets or softgels should start with Yanling Natural Hygiene (65) or Biofact Life (62).

Which halal supplement factory in Malaysia has the most client brands?

Yanling Natural Hygiene in Sungai Buloh has the most, with 104 distinct brand names across 300 products on its JAKIM halal list (kilanghalal scrape of MYeHALAL, resync 8 September 2026). Biofact Life (96 brands), Bio Life Neutraceuticals (91) and Fitwell (84) follow. A long brand list proves the factory makes for other brands under halal certification, but it does not tell you MOQ or price, so ask each factory for those in writing.

How do I check if a supplement OEM supplier in Malaysia is really halal-certified?

Search the factory’s company name on the official Halal Malaysia portal (myehalal.halal.gov.my) and open its product list. Check that the certificate is current and that products like yours (format and category) appear on it. Then confirm with the factory whether your product will be listed on its certificate under your brand, or whether you need your own. A JAKIM listing for the company alone does not make every product it makes halal.

Can a halal supplement OEM in Malaysia make capsules and powders for the same brand?

Yes, but not every factory can. Yanling Natural Hygiene, White Heron, Biofact Life and High Valley list both capsules and powders. Powder specialists such as D&O Nutraceutical — ORIZI Group, Fitwell and Bio Life make powders and drinks only. If you need both, either choose a multi-format plant or split production between a powder factory and a capsule factory, and make sure each product is on a valid halal certificate.

Which is a good halal supplement OEM factory or supplier in Malaysia for a small minimum order?

D&O Nutraceutical — ORIZI Group is the clearest choice: in October 2026 it was the only halal supplement factory in our list publishing a minimum order figure: 500–1,000 boxes, or 10,000 sachets or sticks, depending on pack (company-stated). Fitwell and Softgel Manufacturing say MOQs are “flexible” or “small” without a figure, and Yanling’s enquiry form starts at 1,000 units. Capsule and MAL-registered products usually need larger first orders than powders.

Considered but not listed

Hovid Berhad is a PIC/S pharmaceutical maker, but 112 of the 140 products on its JAKIM list are its own HOVID brand, and the Ministry of Health revoked its manufacturing licences in January 2017 (Chemor restored in March 2017). Edmark Industries: 37 of its 43 JAKIM products are its own brand. Halagel Plant is a known halal softgel maker, but its website did not resolve on 16 October 2026, so OEM terms could not be checked. Livefit Asia: 95 of its 97 JAKIM products are its own brand. TCT Nutraceuticals received a US FDA warning letter in June 2024, and Furley Bioextracts a 2021 FDA warning letter plus an import alert. UNO Nutrition, HAX OEM and NaViBiotech were excluded because we could not confirm an own Malaysian plant.

How we researched this list

Halal evidence comes from the JAKIM MYeHALAL directory (kilanghalal scrape, resync 8 September 2026), counting distinct brand names on each factory’s own product list. Certificates, formats and MOQs were read on each company’s website between 13 and 16 October 2026 and are labelled company-stated unless a number and issuer are published. Google ratings were captured on 13 or 16 October 2026 (dates shown). Facts reuse the October 2026 research behind Malaysia’s Top Ten’s supplement OEM ranking. NPRA does not publish a list of GMP-licensed supplement manufacturers, so NPRA GMP and PIC/S claims could not be checked against a registry. We did not visit factories or audit certificates with issuers.

Sources and references

Limitations

JAKIM product counts come from a directory scrape dated 8 September 2026 and change as certificates are renewed or expire; check the live portal before you commit. Certificates other than those with published numbers are company-stated. Factories without a captured Google rating score zero on reputation. Scores reflect Malaysia OEM’s declared editorial weights, which favour verifiability and start-up access; a brand weighting dosage-form range or pharmaceutical-grade GMP would rank Yanling and White Heron higher.
